Look at some of the stuff we are doing!

We are making waves and bringing quality of life for the orphans, we are teaching empathy and skills. We are sharing love and laughter to these amazing young people who will become the next generation of leaders and community members in Jamaica.

Movie Nite

We had now had 3 movie nites.  The children bond, cheer and come together as they watch classics on a big screen.  Treats of course are the best part. Popcorn, icecream, toffee apples and kiss cakes!

Help us do more movies by contributing to the treats.

Story time
for the
babies

We did a special afternoon for 6 of the orphans aged 3 years old.

We took fruits, yogurt, biscuits, and fruit juice just for them.  We read 'The Three Little Pigs' and they all huffed and puffed!  It was so much fun.

They loved the quality time. We want to do this more often.  They need so much love.

Showing
Compassion

Just because you can!

We saw this young lady's story in our local newspaper, she is a mother of 4 young children living in May Pen, Jamaica.

She and her children all slept on 1 bed and said she often goes to bed with no food so that her children can eat. In her story, she was asking for help as none of the 'baby fathers' would step up and provide.

It's nobody's fault that she has problems but does that mean she doesn't deserve to be helped?

From her story, I could see that she is trying so we reached out to her and gave her a bed (donated by a friend) and a month's supply of groceries.  She was very grateful.  She is now raising chickens and helping herself better.

We all need a little compassion sometimes. It felt right to help her.

A NEW
APPROACH
to Bad Behavior

We believe love is a powerful tool.

We selected 5 challenging children on Sunday to go on a special fun day, they were shocked to be picked.

When we went to select them we bought them into the office and asked them why they think they were called. They all replied 'because we are bad Miss' 😳 I told them they are not bad but misunderstood. When we told them they were going gocart racing they promised to behave and try harder.

They did behave, they had crazy fun. They are still behaving and looking forward to doing something great again.

👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿🥰

Our first visit to Windsor Lodge Children's Home

Updated: Jun 17, 2022

The first time we visited Windsor Lodge Children's Home we bought water, tin food and toiletries supplies for the the orphans...

We went with the hope of changing lives alongside other amazing people who also bought clothes and other resourceful items. Little did we know it would be the start of our lives being changed and something truly amazing.

The children were bright and enthusiastic, they welcomed us with open arms and were so glad to see us. They had a clear love for their head care
