2023 Christmas Plans
Last year we gave the childen a wonderful Real Christmas Tree Lighting Ceromony, and The Ultimate Christmas Party.

This year we want to do a simple Christmas Dinner, a little visit from Santa with small gifts and a special movie and some karaoke. Please help us achieve this, evey little helps.

The children were blown away when Santa turned up! They all came out dressed to the nines! There was music and games and a whole load of fun thanks to all the donations from people like you.
It was a blessed eveing and a first for the Children.

A HUGE BLESSING FROM
Melaine and friends came together and sent the children a barrel fullied with food, and other essential items for the children. We are using them for movie nights, special events and 'shop til you drop'

Karaoke Nite
What a Blessing!

The children bonded and sang together.
The babies did coloring and was egar to show off their skills.
One of our most simple but best events ever!
Back to School Drive
It takes USD$60 to sponsor a child at the orphanage to receive a new school uniform and a new pair of shoes.
​
Some children are starting school for the first time. This child didn't attend school because he was unable to communicate properly, but has shown great improvment in his ability to focus since we have been invloved. Now he's getting a chance to go to school.

Movie Nites
We have now done 3 successful movie nites to date. We have use of a Disney Plus account from a patriot that gives us access to the top movies. The children come together as a family and laugh and cheer through the movies which helps them bond and get on better.
So far we have provided treats to sweeten the evenings such as toffee apples, ice cream, kiss cakes, popcorn & M&M's, lollypops and beverages.

We hope to do more movie nite with your support. A little goes a long way.

Shop Till U Drop
PROMOTING SELF-VALUE, FREEDOM TO CHOOSE, AND WORK EXPERIENCES
When the orphanage gets donations they are stocked and the children are given items when needed. We decided to change how we donated. We created a mobile Shop, printed special currency, and allowed the child to attend the shop and choose and pay for the items they want. This promotes self-value and responsibility. Each sale came with a hug and customer service was key. Some of the older children were also allowed to help run the shop creating work experience.
INCENTIVE CONTRACTS TO ACHIEVE REACHABLE GOALS
Some children signed contracts with us. We held back one item from their shopping and put it in a layaway box.

With the guidance of their career, they agreed to work at goals to behave better. The reward - the layaway item, plus an extra $2,000 in spending money for the next shop in a month's time. The contracts were signed and given to the child to put on the wall beside his or her bed.

OUR SPECIAL TRIP TO MONTEGO BAY
ONE VERY KIND PATRIOT DONATED FUNDS FOR US TO HIRE A BUS TO CARRY ALL THE CHILDREN TO MONTEGO BAY FOR A SPECIAL DAY TRIP. OTHER DONATIONS FILLED IN ALL THE GAPS.

Rewarded for being naughty!
We picked out the top 5 children who cause disruption at the home.
They never seem to be selected for treats because they and always in the bad books for bad behavior.
​
We decided to take a different approach and it worked.
​
When we called the to the office we asked them why they thought they were invited. They all said at once 'because we are bad Miss'!
A good reason to behaive
We made a deal. Try to behave better for two days and you will go gocart racing. They were very excited.
Two days later they had all been doing much better so they went out for the day.
​
They had an amazing fun-filled day. They behaved perfectly and now have a reason to keep up their behavior so they can go again.
Story time for the 3-year-olds
Defiantly the best quality time experienced. These six children got us all to themself for a reading session.
We did The Three Little pigs and they all Huffed and Puffed! They were treated to fresh fruits, yogurt, and real fruit juice. They loved the close attention designed just for them.
Every time I see them now I have to do Incy Wincy Spider! They just want love. We definitely want to do this more often.
